If you're one of the millions of players playing the Overwatch beta right now, good news is coming your way. Seems like the large success of the open beta is being rewarded by extending the date one more day. The beta was originally slated to end May 9th and will be extended to May 10th on 10 a.m. PDT. "We hope everyone has been enjoying the Overwatch open beta. We certainly have! We've loved being able to play alongside you on PC, PS4, and Xbox One" Blizzard said. "Over the last week, we've also had the opportunity to listen to your thoughts and opinions on the game; make improvements based on your reports in these very forums; and collect invaluable data just from you playing normally."
Like I said earlier, apparently millions of players are playing according to Blizzard in which they stated "We couldn't be more grateful. So, as a small way of saying 'thank you' to our community and the millions of players who've logged in so far, we will be extending the open beta by one day on all platforms."
Everything in the beta test will be included in the full game, so what you're playing now will be what you get when the full game comes out on May 24th. I'm currently enjoying the beta immensely, even though I'm terrible at first person shooters. Be sure to join in today or tommorow to test to see if you'll like the game!
