Morning Chat: Happy Pokemon Day!

This is turning out to be more of a night-time chat, but hey, it's morning somewhere right?! Today is pokemon day, and if you didn't know - It marks the 20th anniversary of the Japanese release of pokemon Red and Green, aka the counterpart to our games in the states, pokemon Red and Blue. I remember getting the game a bit later than everyone, but the longevity of these pokemon games far surpassed most games everyone played these days, and it allowed us to do something most games did not at the time: Interact with our friends in a mobile format. Most people cherished the chance to battle their friends, but for me, I took to the more traditional slogan of pokemon and always tried to "Catch 'em All!" Since today is such a special anniversary being the 20th, Nintendo started the day off by announcing their ninth edition of the Pokemon games, Pokemon Sun and Moon. Although they didn't show much towards new pokemon, new features or exactly how the games will look, I'm sure we're all excited to jump in and try this one out.

So, happy pokemon day everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying celebrating in their own ways. I for one will continue dreaming of my chance to trade Geo-caching for pokemon training with the future release of Pokemon GO.
