If you're a fan of horror games, odds are you know something or anything about everyone's favorite teaser PT, which was later learned to be the playable trailer of a now-cancelled Kojima production: Silent Hills. Fans were quickly disappointed when they learned of the now famous Kojima-Konami fiasco, resulting in the Kojima leaving the company, and Silent Hills being scrapped.

Like a phoenix from the flames, Kojima returned to us through Kojima Productions opening its doors on December 16th, 2015 and fans quickly swarmed to learn if something of a successor to Silent Hills was to be. Until today, we were all left with the thought that our Silent Hills game was left to the dust when Hideo Kojima tweeted a photo of Norman Reedus, the prospected protagonist on silent hills, and Kojima himself together "Giving an update about my own company". Kojima has said that he would love to work with Norman Reedus and Guillermo del Toro on some future collaborations quoting "I have faith that we, the three of us, can do something else, there were so many ideas and cool future happenings that were thrown around. I just can't see us not picking this up somewhere."

Speculation aside, it's clear that Kojima is working hard to bring new games to his genius design and direction, including his console-exclusive title for Playstation that he partnered with Sony on, and everything beyond it.
